Turck BI8U-Q08-AP6X2-0.6-RS4/S1160 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-Q08 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with a Polypropylene sensing face and a Thermoplastic Polyurethane cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 60cm / 24" pigtail TPU-jacketed cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It has an 8mm thick rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The maximum switching frequency is 250Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 8mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with an operating mode of NO (Normally Open).
