Turck BI5-G18-RDZ30X2/S1679 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-G18 series designed for sensing applications. This sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing and comes bundled with 2 x lockwashers for embeddable installation. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. It has an M18 fully threaded barrel shape and offers a sensing distance of 5mm. The BI5-G18-RDZ30X2/S1679 provides a digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire pow. MOSFET output) and features output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP). It operates in a normally closed (NC) mode and offers a degree of protection of IP67, making it suitable for use in environments with an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
