BI5-EG18-Y0 Turck Industrial Automation Components

Turck BI5-EG18-Y0 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG18 series. This sensor features an embeddable special version design without an LED indicator and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The connection is facilitated through a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has an M18 fully threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. The BI5-EG18-Y0 features 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 5mm, with a thread size of M18.
