BC10-S30-VN4X Turck Capacitive Sensors

Turck BC10-S30-VN4X is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-S30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor is housed in PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, for both the housing and sensing face, and features a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded barrel, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 10mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and it offers NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs, with an M30 thread size for mounting.
