Telemecanique Sensors XUK9LAPSMM12 is a photo-electric sensor within the XU sub-range, featuring a polarised reflex system. It is constructed from PC / ABS for the case and PMMA for the lens, and it connects via an M12 4-pin connector. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, with digital outputs through a PNP transistor. It operates at a sampling rate of 2000 Hz and emits a red laser light at a wavelength of 655 nm. Designed for a supply voltage of 10-30 V DC, it has a current consumption of 30mA / 0.03 A. The sensor includes a visual position indicator with a yellow LED for output state, a green LED for power ON, and a yellow/red LED flashing for instability/alignment. It can detect objects within a sensing distance of 0.3-14m / 300-14,000 mm and includes protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit. The control circuit is rated for a current of 100mA / 0.1 A. This sensor can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C and offers selectable NO / NC operating modes.
