XCSTR553 Telemecanique Sensors Safety Switches

Telemecanique XCSTR553 is a safety limit switch with rotary movement and features break before make/slow break functions. It is part of the XCSTR sub-range and is designed with a stainless steel spindle and a fibre glass body. This switch offers two 1/2" NPT cable entries for connections and provides a degree of protection rated at IP67. It is capable of enduring 1,000,000 operations mechanically at no load and has the same electrical durability with load at 240Vac/250Vdc. The XCSTR553 includes 3 poles, with 2 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts and 1 Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contact. It supports a rated insulation voltage of 400 V (UL) and 300 V, with a control circuit rated current of 3 A at 240Vac (AC-15) and 0.27 A at 250Vdc (DC-13). The operating temperature range is from -25°C to 70°C, and it requires an operating torque of 0.1 N.m.
