Schneider Electric ATV61HU40Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 61 series designed for variable speed and frequency control. It features sensorless flux vector control in standard and energy-saving modes, and vector control without speed feedback, capable of delivering 120% of the nominal motor torque. This model comes with a built-in EMC filter (class C3), a built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced durability. It operates on a supply voltage of 425-759Vac, accommodating 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac nominal voltages. The dimensions are H420mm x W240mm x D236mm, and it has a conformal coating for chemical resistance. The degree of protection is IP20 UL type 1, with rated currents of 5.8A at 500Vac and 5.5A at 690Vac, with a maximum current of 6.96A for 60 seconds. For installation, it supports wall mounting and uses Modbus and CANopen communication protocols. It is designed for a 3-phase network with an output frequency range of 0.1-599 Hz. The unit includes 1 analog output (0-10Vdc / 0-20mA), 5 digital inputs (24Vdc; sink/source), an additional programmable digital input, and a PWR safety input. It also features 1 digital output (C/O SPDT relay contact) and 1 digital output (NO relay contact), along with 2 analog inputs for versatile connectivity. The current consumption is 6.8A at 500Vac for 3kW and 6.6A at 690Vac for 4kW, with rated active power of 4kW at 690Vac and 3kW at 500Vac.
