Schneider Electric ATV61HC40Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 61 series designed for three-phase networks with a supply voltage range of 425-759Vac, including nominal voltages of 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac. It features a built-in EMC filter of class C3, a built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced chemical resistance, conforming to a reinforced version. The ATV61HC40Y offers various control modes including sensorless flux vector control and vector control without speed feedback, capable of delivering 120% of the nominal motor torque. It has a degree of protection of IP20 UL type 1 and supports wall mounting. The drive's dimensions are H1190mm x W595mm x D377mm. For communication, it utilizes Modbus and CANopen protocols. The output network frequency ranges from 0.1 to 500 Hz. It includes one analog output (0-10Vdc / 0-20mA), five digital inputs (24Vdc; sink/source) plus one additional digital input programmable as discrete or PTC input, and two digital outputs (one C/O SPDT relay contact and one NO relay contact). The ATV61HC40Y also features two analog inputs (-10...+10Vdc and 0-10Vdc / 0-20mA). Its rated current varies with supply voltage, offering 462A at 500Vac, 412A at 575Vac, and 420A at 690Vac, with a maximum current of 554.4A for 60 seconds. The rated active power is 400kW at 690Vac and 315kW at 500Vac, with a rated power of 450HP.
