Schneider Electric ATV61HC16Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 61 series designed for three-phase networks with a supply voltage range of 425-759Vac, including nominal voltages of 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac. It features variable speed/frequency drive capabilities with U/F ratio adjustments (2 points / 5 points / energy saving), sensorless flux vector control (standard / energy saving), and vector control without speed feedback, capable of delivering 120% of the nominal motor torque. The design incorporates a built-in EMC filter (class C3), a built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced chemical resistance. The ATV61HC16Y has dimensions of H1190mm x W340mm x D377mm, offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 UL type 1, and supports wall mounting. It is equipped with a rated current of 200A at 500Vac and 2.5kHz, 180A at 690Vac and 2.5kHz, with a maximum current of 240A for 60 seconds. Communication is facilitated through Modbus and CANopen protocols. The output network frequency ranges from 0.1-500 Hz. It includes 1 analog output (0-10Vdc / 0-20mA), 5 digital inputs (24Vdc; sink/source) plus 1 additional digital input programmable as discrete or PTC input and another for PWR safety, along with 2 digital outputs (1 C/O SPDT relay contact and 1 NO relay contact). Analog inputs comprise 1 input for -10...+10Vdc and another for 0-10Vdc / 0-20mA. Current consumption is specified as 182A at 500Vac, 158.9A at 600Vac, and 163A at 690Vac, with rated active power outputs of 160kW at 690Vac and 132kW at 500Vac.
