Product description

Pilz PILZ-837270 is a protection unit designed for 3-phase voltage monitoring, including overvoltage and undervoltage monitoring functions. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and is designed with a 40 percent hysteresis. It features safety output contacts ratings of 0.1A-5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13). Connection is established via fixed screw terminal connections. As part of the S3UM sub-range, this unit measures 22.5mm in width, offers an IP40 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). It can measure frequencies between 40-400Hz and is housed in PPO material. Designed for a 3-phase (3AC) input network, it has a rated voltage for measuring of 400/440Vac. The unit's power consumption is 1.5 W, with dimensions of 22.5mm in width and 122mm in depth. It supports both fault latching and non-latching operating modes, normally energized and normally de-energized modes, and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. It includes 1 x delayed auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc DC-1 resistive load; 0.5-10s time-delay selectable) and 1 x analog input for L1-L3 voltage measurement. Protection functions cover undervoltage, overvoltage, phase sequence, phase failure, and asymmetry, with 1 x automatic reset and 1 x switching commutation digital inputs.
