Pilz PILZ-774360 is a dual-channel safety relay designed for two-hand monitoring type III C applications, featuring DIN rail mounting for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and has a net height of 87 mm. The safety output contacts are rated at 5A for both 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 1.5A for 24Vdc (DC-13), and 2.5A for 230Vac (AC-15). This model utilizes fixed screw terminal connections and requires a supply voltage of 195.5-253Vac (230Vac nominal) within the P2HZ X1 sub-range. Dimensions include a width of 45mm and a depth of 121mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and the unit consumes 6 VA of power. It supports dual-channel operation with the capability to detect shorts across contacts, redundant input circuits, earth faults in the start and input circuit, and short circuits in the input circuit. The digital outputs consist of 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO / 3xSPST-NO each made of 2 N.O. contacts in series; 5A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC / SPST-NC made of 2 N.C. contacts in parallel), along with 2 x instantaneous auxiliary outputs (semiconductor outputs; 24Vdc; 20mA). It also features protection functions for detecting shorts across contacts and includes 2 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 45mA) and 1 x feedback loop input.
