Pilz PILZ-774140 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, including mechanical and non-contact methods. It features an ON-delay de-energization timer, monitored manual reset, and start-up testing that accommodates both AND and OR inputs, alongside a self-test function. This part is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It has a net height of 94 mm, a rated current of 2A, and utilizes plug-in/detachable screw terminal connections. As part of the PNOZ e3vp sub-range, it measures 22.5mm in width and 121 mm in depth, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The housing is made from PPO and the front housing from ABS. It supports dual-channel operation with detection capabilities for earth faults in the input circuit and shorts between input circuit contacts. The relay offers automatic and monitored start modes, with a start-up test to prevent automatic restarting after a power failure. It can expand the number of available contacts through external modules or contactors/relays. Digital outputs include 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, 1 x instantaneous safety output, and 1 x delayed safety output with a selectable time delay up to 300 seconds, plus 2 x test pulse outputs. It features 2 operating modes, 1 digital input, 2 logic inputs, 1 feedback input, 1 start input, and 1 self-monitoring input for comprehensive safety management.
