Pilz PILZ-772135 is a communications unit designed for automation systems, featuring a CANopen fieldbus interface and supporting a device type as a peripheral. It complies with the CiA 301 V4.2.0 standard for fieldbus interfaces and allows for station addresses ranging from 0 to 99d. This unit offers galvanic isolation with functional insulation rated at a surge voltage of 500V between the fieldbus and module voltage. It is designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with it. The unit has a net height of 101.4 mm, requires a maximum external power supply continuous current of 35mA, and connects via a 9-pin D-sub female connector with screw or spring-loaded terminal connections. It falls under the communication module sub-range, measures 22.5mm in width, and is protected by an IP20-rated PC housing in green. The supply voltage ranges from 19.2 to 30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc and an additional 3.3Vdc supplied via the base unit. The unit features galvanic isolation protection, a rated insulation voltage of 30V for potential isolation, and supports various transmission rates for CANopen from 10kbit/s to 1MBit/s. It has a current consumption of 60mA from the supply via the base module and a maximum power dissipation of 1.5W.
