Product description
Pilz PILZ-772119 is a Safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with 35mmx7.5mm and 27mm DIN rails. This configurable safety small virtual I/O expansion unit features potential isolation between the module and both the supply and system voltages, with functional insulation and rated insulation voltage of 30V, alongside a rated surge voltage of 2500V. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C and has a net height of 101.4 mm, width of 22.5 mm, and depth of 120 mm. The connection type accommodates plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals, supporting 2 points per spring-loaded connection with a 9mm stripping length. The unit falls under the Safe I/O module sub-range, with an IP20 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal; module supply) and 3.3Vdc (module supply via base unit). Constructed with a PC housing, it supports wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 / 24AWG to 12AWG for 1-core flexible with screw connection, 0.2 to 1.5mm2 / 24AWG to 16AWG for 2-cores flexible with crimp/TWIN crimp connector and screw connection, and 0.25 to 2.5mm2 / 24AWG to 12AWG for spring connection. The unit's power consumption is 2.5 W (from supply via base module) and 0.2 W, with a maximum power dissipation/loss of 3 W. It features 32 x digital outputs (virtual outputs) and 32 x digital inputs (virtual inputs), with a current consumption of 60mA (from supply via base module) and a processing time of a maximum of 5 ms for data transmission.
