Pilz PILZ-772019 is a Safety I/O unit designed for virtual I/O expansion module applications. It features DIN rail mounting options for both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width rails. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C and has a net height of 100 mm. It is specifically designed for safe coupling between PNOZmulti controllers and offers plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections, accommodating 2 points per spring-loaded connection with a 9mm stripping length. As part of the Safe I/O module sub-range, it has an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of PC material, and it supports a maximum cable length of 1000m per input. The net width of the unit is 22.5 mm, and it can handle wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for screw connections and 0.2 to 2.5mm2 for spring connections. The power consumption is rated at 5 W for module supply, and the net depth is 120 mm. It is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. The unit features 32 digital outputs and 32 digital inputs, both virtual, with a rated impulse voltage of 2.5 kV and a rated insulation voltage of 30 V. The time delay includes a 5s switch-on delay and a 20ms supply interruption before de-energization, with a maximum data transmission time processing time of 35 ms.
