PM-U25-R Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-U25-R is a compact U-shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection with a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 1m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable that terminates with bare flying leads. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-U25-R provides two digital outputs: one NPN open-collector for Light-ON and one for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs and includes an orange LED for visual operation indication. The current consumption is minimal at 15mA, and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
