PM-L54P Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-L54P is a compact U-shaped (L-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection with a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin connector for connectivity. This sensor features a degree of protection rated at IP40 and is constructed with a PBT housing, ensuring durability. It offers a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-L54P provides two digital outputs: one NPN open-collector output for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs (0.00008 s) and includes an orange LED as a visual position indicator. The sensor's current consumption is minimal at 15mA (0.015 A), and it is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
