EX-L291-Y Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-L291-Y is a photo-electric sensor constructed from PBT for the case and glass for the lens, designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It has a current consumption of 15mA / 0.015 A and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor features a spot size of 6mm x 4mm, emits red light, and can detect objects as small as 25mm. It includes an orange LED to indicate operation and a green LED for stability, with a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s. This model provides 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It boasts a sensing distance of up to 4m and is equipped with protection functions against outputs short-circuit and inverse polarity. The sensor is characterized by its long sensing range, ultra-compact laser (Class 1) with a built-in amplifier, and continuously variable sensitivity adjustment. It connects via a pre-wired 2m 4-core 0.15mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads, featuring 4 cores for the cable and 2 cores for the emitter. The cable length is 2m, and the wavelength of the laser is 655 nm.
