EX-L221-P-J Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-L221-P-J is a photo-electric sensor made from PBT for the case and glass for the lens, designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It consumes 15mA / 0.015 A of current and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits red light and can detect objects as small as 25mm, featuring an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability. It has a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s and includes 1 digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA). The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a sensing distance ranging from 4.5cm to 30cm. It is equipped with protection functions against outputs short-circuit and inverse polarity. This ultra-compact laser (Class 1) sensor with a built-in amplifier is capable of minute object detection and offers continuously variable sensitivity adjustment. It connects via a pre-wired M8 connector pigtail, with the cable featuring 4 cores for the receiver and 2 cores for the emitter. The sensor has a 1mm diameter spot with a wavelength of 655 nm.
