HMS-EN2SE-R Description

Anybus by HMS Networks HMS-EN2SE-R is a gateway belonging to the Linking Device Series, designed as a protocol translator gateway for vertical installation. It features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides and allows for any valid IP address to be used for EtherNet/IP. TCP/IP settings are configurable via a web page, configuration tool, DHCP/ARP, or DIP switches. This model is designed with EtherNet/IP to serial conversion and includes 6 x LED indicators. It has dimensions of H120mm x W25mm x D75mm and is constructed with a plastic housing made of ABS/PC. Connection options include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet IP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 9-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 sub-networks, and 1 x 2-poles plug-in screw connector for power. It supports communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, RS-232, and RS-485. The supply voltage required is 21.6-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). For mounting, it offers options for DIN rail or wall mounting. The operational ambient air temperature range is 0...+55 °C, with a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. Current consumption is 300mA (24Vdc; max.) and 100mA (24Vdc; typical). Speed capabilities are 10/100Mbit/s for Ethernet and 1.2kbit/s to 57.6kbit/s for serial baud rate. PULS UBC10.241 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module within the U-series, featuring a built-in battery with a 50% power reserve and a green status LED.
