Anybus by HMS Networks AB9079-C is a gateway designed for the .NET bridge series, functioning as an IIoT gateway with a USB port for firmware upgrades. It is intended for horizontal installation up to an altitude of 2000m and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. The device is built to withstand the immunity and emission standards of an industrial environment, including electrostatic discharge of +/-4kV, electromagnetic RF fields ranging from 10V/m at 80MHz-1GHz to 1V/m at 2.0GHz-2.7GHz, fast transients of +/-1kV, surge protection of +/-1kV, RF conducted interference of 10V/rms, and emissions of 40dB at 30MHz-230MHz and 47dB at 30MHz-1GHz. It includes 1 x SD card slot, operates as an Anybus EtherCAT to .NET Bridge, and has 8 x LED indicators for operational status. The supply voltage required is 21.6-26.4Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Dimensions are H110mm x W35mm x D101mm, and it is housed in a plastic casing made of ABS/PC. Connection interfaces include 2 x RJ45 connectors for 100Mbit/s EtherCAT, 1 x 3-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB type-B connector. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -25 to +70°C, with a typical current consumption of 150mA. It includes protection functions against reverse voltage and short-circuiting. The device is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and can operate in humidity levels of 5-95% RH, non-condensing, with a communication speed of 100Mbit/s.
