About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7805-F is a gateway designed for protocol translation within the X-gateway series. It functions as a PROFIBUS master and an Interbus CU slave, facilitating communication between these two protocols. The device is configured vertically or flat and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides to prevent electrical interference. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The AB7805-F is equipped with 10 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and a baud rate can be adjusted using a jumper. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. The dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability while maintaining a lightweight design. Connection options include a variety of 9-pin D-sub connectors for Interbus and PROFIBUS, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and a USB connector for configuration. The AB7805-F offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is mounted on a DIN rail. It supports communication protocols such as INTERBUS and PROFIBUS, with operational ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. The gateway supports speeds up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS and between 500kbit/s to 2Mbit/s for INTERBUS.
