Festo DSNU-3/8-3-P-A is a double-acting single-ended pneumatic air cylinder designed for mounting via accessories. It features a round cylindrical shape with a high-alloy stainless steel cylinder barrel, wrought aluminium alloy cover, and a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod. The static seals are made from nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)), ensuring compatibility with ambient air temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C. This model is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series, adhering to ISO6432 standards, and includes a built-in magnet and elastic cushioning at both ends for improved performance. It is designed for operation with oil lubrication and allows for position sensing via a proximity sensor. The DSNU-3/8-3-P-A operates with compressed air as per ISO8573-1:2010 [7;4;4] standards, with a connection type of 6-32 UNC-2A male threaded rod and 10-32UNF threaded pneumatic port.
