DSNU-1-6-PPV-A Festo Pneumatic Cylinders

Festo DSNU-1-6-PPV-A is a pneumatic cylinder designed for double-acting, single-ended operation. It features a round cylindrical shape with a high-alloy stainless steel cylinder barrel, wrought aluminium alloy cover, and a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod. The static seals are made from nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of operating environments. This model operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers moderate-corrosion stress resistance (CRC Class 2). It is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series and is designed based on ISO6432, including a built-in magnet and adjustable cushioning at both ends. The cylinder also supports operation with oil lubrication and position sensing via a proximity sensor. It utilizes compressed air as per ISO8573-1;2010 [7;4;4] standards. The connection type includes a 3/8-24 UNF-2A male threaded rod and a 1/8" NPT threaded pneumatic port. It operates at a pressure range of +1 to +10 bar, with a 1" bore size and a 6" stroke length. The cushioning length is 0.67".
