DSNU-1-1/2-PPV-A Festo Pneumatic Cylinders

Festo DSNU-1-1/2-PPV-A is a double-acting single-ended pneumatic air cylinder designed for mounting via accessories. It features a high-alloy stainless steel cylinder barrel, wrought aluminium alloy cover, and a high-alloy stainless steel piston rod, with static seals made from nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)). This cylinder operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers moderate-corrosion stress resistance (CRC Class 2). Its round cylindrical shape is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series, based on ISO6432 with built-in magnet, adjustable cushioning at both ends, and the capability for operation with oil lubrication. Position sensing is achievable via a proximity sensor. The cylinder uses double-acting compressed air as per ISO8573-1;2010 [7;4;4] standards, with a 3/8-24 UNF-2A male threaded rod and a 1/8" NPT threaded pneumatic port for connections. It operates at a pressure range of +1 to +10 bar, with a 1" bore size (B1"), a 1/2" stroke length (S1/2"), and a 0.67" cushioning length.
