SLM80B6 W/30 Description
Banner Engineering SLM80B6 W/30 is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor from the SLM series, featuring potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing and an Acrylic lens, ensuring durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. Designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C, it offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating. The sensor's slot shape has a passageway width of 80mm and a height of 80mm, with a net depth of 12mm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), can sense objects up to 80mm away, and responds in 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, providing flexibility for various applications.
