Q146E Banner Optical Sensors

Banner Engineering Q146E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an emitter alone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor is part of the Q14 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP54 NEMA 4. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. The Q146E has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 30 mm in height, 8 mm in width, and 14 mm in depth. Its housing is made of thermoplastic with a glass lens, presented in black color. The sensing distance reaches up to 1.8m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s.
