Banner Engineering PIRS1X166UM.67 is a fiber sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates as a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. The sensor features a 0.25mm fiber core and is part of the Plastic fiber series. It has a rectangular shape with a 20x20mm sensing area and is constructed with an aluminium sensing end and a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m, and it is designed to function optimally in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
