Banner Engineering PIF46UM.18F is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, with a 1mm fiber core diameter and a 6ft (2m) length. The sensor's design includes a cylindrical (smooth) end tip, constructed from stainless steel for the sensing end, and utilizes plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for durability and performance.
