Banner Engineering PIA46UMAF is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It features a 1mm fiber core diameter and falls under the Plastic fiber series. The sensor has a sensing area of 12.7x38mm with a rectangular shape. The sensing end is made of plastic, and the fiber sheath is constructed from Polyethylene (PE), ensuring compatibility with a variety of applications. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C and has a length of 6ft / 2m, providing flexibility for installation in different settings.
