Banner Engineering PBT415UMFF is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications with a bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) end tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, while the fiber is constructed from plastic, and the sheath is made of polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 15ft / 4.5m, accommodating various installation requirements.
