About the product
Banner Engineering PBP46UM1 is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a probe with a ferrule tip and bifurcated fiber for in-line sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip made of stainless steel, with the fiber core having a diameter of 1.2mm at the end and 0.5mm for the fiber itself. The sensor is encased in a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and protection. It has a length of 6 feet (approximately 2 meters) and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
