M12NLP Description

Banner Engineering M12NLP is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the M12 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and is housed in nickel-plated brass with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. The sensor is shaped in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C. The M12NLP offers a sensing distance of 1.5m and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
