LX3RQ-72028 Banner Measurement Sensors

Banner Engineering LX3RQ-72028 is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched array, functioning as the receiver alone. It features a bipolar light-operate mode within a rectangular shape. The housing is made of aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The dimensions include a 67mm array length, a net height of 114mm, a net width of 26mm, and a net depth of 32mm. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. The LX3RQ-72028 offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and features both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It has a sensing distance of 30cm to 2m and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a response time of 0.8ms (0.0008 seconds). The minimum detectable object size is 9.5mm.
