LX3R-72286 Description

Banner Engineering LX3R-72286 is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen array, functioning as a receiver alone. It features a 67mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This model is pre-wired, including a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor's dimensions are specified with a net height of 114 mm, a width of 26 mm, and a depth of 32 mm. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The LX3R-72286 operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, capable of sensing distances from 30cm up to 2m. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a response time of 400μs / 0.0004 s. The minimum detectable object size for this sensor is 9.5mm.
