LX15R-77698 Banner Measurement Sensors

Banner Engineering LX15R-77698 is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as the receiver component in a light-operate mode. This unit features a 371mm array length encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a net height of 419 mm, a width of 26 mm, and a depth of 32 mm. Designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The LX15R-77698 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, can sense objects within a distance of 30cm to 2m, and is capable of detecting objects as small as 9.5mm. It includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s.
