About the product
Banner Engineering LX15R is a standard-range part-sensing light screen cross-hatched array designed for detecting objects with a minimum size of 9.5mm. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, features a 371mm array length housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy integration into various setups. The LX15R operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. With dimensions of 419mm in height, 26mm in width, and 32mm in depth, this sensor offers a sensing distance between 30cm and 2m. It provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and features a quick response time of 4ms. The LX15R is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions, and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
