About the product
Banner Engineering LX12R is a standard-range part-sensing light screen cross-hatched array sensor designed for precise object detection. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, features a 295mm array length encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The LX12R operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and offers a digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It has a net height of 342mm, a width of 26mm, and a depth of 32mm. Designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water. The sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, can sense objects within a distance of 30cm to 2m, and has a response time of 3.2ms. It is capable of detecting objects as small as 9.5mm.
