LX12RSR Banner Measurement Sensors

Banner Engineering LX12RSR is a sensor array designed for short-range part-sensing, featuring a light screen / curtain cross-hatched array (receiver alone). It has a 295mm array length and is housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, supporting a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal). The LX12RSR measures 342mm in height, 26mm in width, and 32mm in depth. It operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a sensing distance between 100 and 200mm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 3.2ms / 0.0032 s, capable of detecting object sizes as small as 5.6mm.
