RI-43H38S8-2F1024-10MIL Description

Turck RI-43H38S8-2F1024-10MIL is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +80°C and features a large-bore through hollow shaft flange with long tether arm optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector and falls under the Type RI-43 series. It has dimensions of H140mm x W135mm x D174mm with a 100mm casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a frequency of 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, and aluminium flange, it features a 38mm hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides 1 x digital output (push-pull with inverting signal; 5Vdc-30Vdc), includes short-circuit protection functions, and can handle a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm. Its moment of inertia is less than 220x10^-6kg.m^2, with a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution), and a current consumption of 50mA with no load.
