Turck NI4U-Q8SE-AP6X-0.2-PSG3M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring the detection of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features an extended barrel design for enhanced sensing capabilities. It comes pre-wired with a 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector, ensuring easy and secure connections. Part of the NI...-Q8 series, this sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is critical. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is equipped with a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) that supports NO (Normally Open) operating mode. The sensor's body and sensing face are made from PP (Polypropylene), featuring an 8mm thick extended rectangular shape that facilitates a sensing distance of 4mm. Additionally, it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity to ensure stable operation under various conditions.
