BIM-M12E-AP6X-H1141/S1751 Description

Turck BIM-M12E-AP6X-H1141/S1751 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch from the BIM-M12E series. This sensor is designed with an FM Approved Class I Div 2 extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing is made of chrome-plated brass, and the sensing face is constructed from PBT-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate at a frequency of up to 1kHz or 1000Hz maximum switching frequency. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA or 0.2 A. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
