About the product

Turck BI2-EG12-RN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG12 series, designed for embeddable installation. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 fully threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) with a sensing distance of 2mm. The BI2-EG12-RN6X provides protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It has an M12 thread size and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
