Turck BI1-EH04-Y1/SV is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EH04 series. This sensor is designed with ATEX compliance for embeddable special packaging suitable for vending machines. It operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and features a stainless steel housing with a PA (Polyamide) sensing face. The connection is facilitated through a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Its shape is a 4mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), ensuring a compact form factor. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in environments with an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It is equipped with 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 1mm.
