Turck BCT5-S18-UP6X2T-H1151 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch from the BC...-S18 series, featuring a teach programmable function via button and an embeddable design. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing and sensing face are made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. This sensor is equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy connection and has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BCT5-S18-UP6X2T-H1151 supports a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and utilizes the IO-Link communication protocol for efficient data exchange. It features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the thread size is M18.
