Telemecanique Sensors XUYAFLCO966S is a photo-electric sensor within the XU sub-range, designed to function as a fiber optic sensor amplifier with teach mode. It is constructed from polycarbonate and features an M8 4-pin connector for connectivity. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and is equipped with both PNP and NPN transistor outputs. It operates with a sampling rate of 5kHz (5000 Hz) and requires a supply voltage of 12-24 V DC, with a current consumption of 40mA (0.04 A). The light emitted by the sensor is pulsed red, and it includes protection functions against reverse polarity, overload, and short-circuit. The control circuit is rated for a current of 100mA (0.1 A). This sensor can operate within a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C and offers selectable NO/NC operating modes.
