METSEPM5340 Schneider Electric Industrial Automation Components

Schneider Electric METSEPM5340 is a flush-mounted power meter within the PM5300 sub-range, designed for a wide variety of functions including I/O timer, operating timer, active load timer, alarm counters, alarm logs, and alarms with 1s resolution timestamping. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and supports network frequencies from 45 to 65 Hz. The device has a net height of 96 mm and a net width of 96 mm, offering a degree of protection of IP30 for the body and IP52 for the front, conforming to IEC 60529 standards. It is compatible with 1P+N, 3P, and 3P+N network types and utilizes an Ethernet (Modbus TCP) communication protocol. Its measurement functions cover a broad spectrum including power factor, frequency, voltage, current, energy accumulation, total demand distortion, harmonic distortion, demand current average, real/active power, reactive power, apparent power, demand power, and up to the 31st harmonic with multi-tariff capabilities. Measurement accuracy is maintained at 0.05% for frequency, 0.5% for current, voltage (Phase-Neutral), active power, apparent power, active energy, and 2% for reactive energy. The embedding depth is 44 mm, with resistance specifications of 5M Ω for VT input impedance and 0.3milli Ω for current input impedance. Door cut-out dimensions are specified as 92 mm in height and width, with a slight tolerance. Data recording features include non-volatile memory for 2 selectable parameters with configurable interval and duration, alarms timestamping, min/max of instantaneous values recording, and maintenance/alarm/event logs.
