Product description
PULS YR80.241 is a redundancy unit belonging to the Y-series, designed with a built-in decoupling MOSFET for 1+1 or N+1 redundancy and ATEX approval. It operates with a supply voltage range of 8.4Vdc to 36.4Vdc, nominally at 12Vdc or 24Vdc, and can handle a rated current of 80A at 28Vdc. The unit features screw-clamp connections for secure installation and is designed for DIN rail mounting. It operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The YR80.241 has dimensions of W46mm x H124mm x D127mm and a net width of 46 mm. It is capable of a peak inrush current consumption of 1500A and offers protection functions including short-circuit protection with a 130A threshold at 6V. This model supports both series and parallel operation for 1+1 redundancy, utilizing two identical power supplies, and N+1 redundancy, using three or more identical power supplies, with all outputs isolated by diodes or other switching arrangements. The output voltage range is 12-28Vdc, nominally at 12Vdc or 24Vdc. Power dissipation/losses are rated at 2.7 W for 8.4-36.4Vdc input with 2x20A input and 3.6 W for 40A input. Its electrical durability is notable, with up to 1450000 hours at 25°C for 80A output with 2x20A input. The output stage capacitance is 320 µF, and the ripple is measured at 49mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω.
