Pilz PILZ-890065 is a protection unit designed for true power monitoring with a relay function. It features nine different measuring ranges, adjustable switching for underload and overload thresholds, and adjustable monitoring reaction time. The unit also includes an adjustable start-up suppression time for enhanced control. It is designed for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and supports a rated current of 9A for measuring current with safety output contacts ratings ranging from 0.1A to 5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA), and from 0.1A to 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13) and 0.1A to 1.8A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage ranges from 27.5-264.5Vac for AC and 93.5-287.5Vdc for DC, with a sub-range name of S1WP. The dimensions include a width of 22.5mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40. The frequency range for measurement extends up to 1kHz. The housing is made of PPO material, and the unit is compatible with both single-phase (1AC) and 3-phase (3AC) input types. The rated voltage for AC operation is 0-550Vac/dc, with a net width of 22.5 mm and a power consumption of 5 VA. The net depth is 121 mm, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. It includes one digital output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc 120W DC-1 or 240Vac 1200VA AC-1 resistive load) and two analog inputs (one for current measurement and one for voltage measurement), alongside one analog output for voltage and current. The protection functions include underpower and overpower protection.
