Pilz PILZ-840650 is a protection unit designed for thermistor monitoring relay applications, featuring thermistor monitoring as its main function. It is engineered for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This unit has a net height of 87 mm and incorporates a manual reset design with fixed screw terminal connections. It is supplied with a voltage range of 93.5-121Vac (110Vac nominal) and falls under the S1MO sub-range. The dimensions include a width of 22.5mm and a depth of 121 mm, offering a degree of protection of IP40. The housing is made from PPO material, ensuring durability within specified conditions. Power consumption is rated at 3.5 VA. The operating mode is manual reset in a normally energized configuration. For storage, it can withstand ambient air temperatures from -40 to +85°C. It includes 2 x auxiliary outputs (2CO changeover / 2xSPDT-NO/NC contacts) for digital outputs and 2 x analog inputs (T1-T2 measuring circuits) for monitoring purposes. Additionally, it features 2 x reset circuit inputs (X2-X1) for digital inputs and is equipped with protection functions against overheating, utilizing thermistor-based technology.
